Professional Standards & Privacy

Last Updated: February 2026

At Elisme Consulting Services LLC, we believe psychological safety begins with transparency. We are committed to operating with integrity, clarity, and respect regarding your personal information and the professional scope of our services.

Scope of Service & Professional Boundaries

Elisme Consulting Services LLC is founded and led by Dr. Erlange Elisme, DSW, a certified trauma-informed care leadership and practice specialist.

Consulting & Coaching Services

All services provided by Elisme Consulting Services LLC are educational, strategic, and consultative in nature. We focus on:

  • Trauma-responsive leadership development
  • Organizational resilience and culture transformation
  • Parent and caregiver education
  • Professional training and capacity building
  • Our services are designed to equip individuals and organizations with practical tools and evidence-informed strategies.

Not Clinical Therapy

While Dr. Elisme holds a Doctor of Social Work degree and advanced certifications in trauma-informed care, she does not operate as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) through this business.

Elisme Consulting Services LLC does not provide:

  • Psychotherapy
  • Mental health diagnoses
  • Clinical treatment
  • Medical or psychiatric services

Participation in coaching, training, or consulting services does not establish a therapeutic relationship.

Referral Policy

We maintain a Referral-First standard of care. If you or your organization requires clinical support to process trauma, address significant mental health concerns, or receive therapeutic intervention, we will recommend consultation with a licensed mental health professional.

Your well-being is always prioritized above service engagement.

Ethical Commitment

Although Elisme Consulting Services LLC is a consulting firm and not a clinical practice, we voluntarily align our business conduct with the core values outlined in the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics.

Confidentiality

We treat personal and organizational information shared during consulting or coaching engagements with professional discretion and respect. While coaching confidentiality is not legally equivalent to clinical privilege, we uphold high standards of privacy and professional integrity.

Cultural Humility

Our work is culturally responsive and grounded in respect for diverse identities, lived experiences, and communities. We are committed to equity, dignity, and inclusive excellence in all engagements.
